The government have given Broker Expo the green light!

Like many event organisers, we have been following the UK Government guidelines closely and working on our plan of action to support the insurance community through this time. As it stands, events have been given permission to go ahead from 1 October 2020. 

Since the announcement, we have been working hard to plan our upcoming event, within the guidelines that have been set.

Attending Broker Expo 

With the latest update from the government on live events, we want to share some of the measures we will undertake to ensure that the evening goes off with a bang, and our guests stay safe. Since the beginning of lock-down, we have been working with our friends at the Ricoh Arena to plan the day. This list will no doubt grow as more guidelines are shared with us in due course.  


There will be an online registration, to adhere to the track and trace guidelines. 

Guests will be sent digital tickets to check-in on arrival, no paper tickets allowed.  

Arriving at the Ricoh Arena:

All guests will be allocated an arrival time and entry door, to maintain social distancing. 

All doors, including fire doors, will be used to enter the building which will allow social distancing to be maintained. 

At the venue:

There will be a one-way system in operation within the venue. 

Hand sanitiser stations will be located around the venue. 

Signage will be in place to advise on distancing. 

Comfort breaks:

The number of toilets will be increased throughout the venue, to avoid long queues.

Toilets will be located around the venue to avoid the need to travel around to access one.  

Leaving Broker Expo:

Staggered exit times will be shared with guests, to avoid large groups of people leaving the venue.

As the unprecedented COVID-19 situation changes every day, we remain watchful but also focused on delivering this much anticipated conference. We want you to feel confident about booking with us, so our commitment to you is:

  • If we need to reschedule the event, we will give you the option to transfer your sponsorship to the new date or receive a full refund.

  • If we are unable to run the same event within a 12 month period, you can either:

    • transfer your sponsorship to another Insurance Post / Insurance Age event;

    • work with your account manager to develop a bespoke marketing campaign that engages with our communities through a selection of our digital, research, branding, and lead generation channels; or

    • request a full refund.
